Fashion is important to most young people today.  No matter the style, teenagers are drawn to a vast array of styles because they are a way to express oneself.  From neat and clean styles to those that are a bit more controversial, teenagers find clothing and accessories that give them the confidence to show the world how they feel.

For girls, it is easy to find fashion styles that speak to all kinds of people.  School-age girls, who often have to abide by dress codes, can easily find jeans, pants, and shirts that meet school standards but have enough flair and individuality.  For instance, pants can be adorned with jewels or other accessories, and they can be purchased in a variety of colors and cuts.  Suitable for every casual occasion, jeans make girls feel cute and they are functional at the same time.

The variety of shirts for girls is seemingly endless.  From colors that express moods to prints that clearly speak the wearer’s mind, tops are a way to express oneself.  Classy sweaters and button-ups give a feeling of confidence and responsibility, while t-shirts and tank tops may be more laid-back and comfortable.

For boys, style is just as important.  Although males typically do not spend as much time in clothing stores as girls do, they still enjoy expressing themselves through style.  Rough concert t-shirts with worn appearances make boys look tough, while ties and dress shirts are required to portray leadership or trustworthiness.
